MMA-3 Xtreme™ is very orally active. The structure of MMA-3 Xtreme™ is resistant to 17-ketosteroid deactivation during this first pass through the liver. The combination of its delta 1 and delta 4 double bond (1,4-diene) shifts the hepatic metabolism of this compound leaving it active in the body. This means that MMA-3 Xtreme™ is highly active when taken as a dietary supplement.
MMA-3 Xtreme™ does not aromatize easily. It converts to estrogen at roughly half the rate of androstenedione and testosterone. This significantly reduces the level of estrogen produced during use and lowers the chance of noticing strong estrogen related side effects such as increased body fat, gynecomastia and water retention/bloating. The results are seen in dry lean mass and strength.

MMA-3 Xtreme™ is not used by 5-alpha reductase, the enzyme responsible for converting testosterone to dihydrotestosterone. Dihydrotestosterone is responsible for androgenic activity. This means that in tissues such as skin, scalp, prostate and central nervous system it does not trigger unwanted side effects such as oily skin, acne, body/facial hair growth and male pattern baldness. MMA-3 Xtreme™ is not a testosterone derivative so it does not convert to dihydrotestosterone which means androgenic side effects are minimal.
